A large luxury room. Marble and cast iron fireplace, King size baronial style
pine bed, dressing table and chair, wardrobe, comfy sofa that converts to a single bed, two
bedside tables, several coffee/ side tables. The en-suite shower room has a shaver socket, a loo with an old style high level cistern and a shower cubicle with a glass door and victorian style thermostatic shower fittings.

Twin iron beds, writing table and chair, wardrobe with drawers, bedside
tables, coffee table and two occasional chairs which are just about comfy enough for an evening
watching TV. The en-suite is almost identical to that in room 1.

A light and airy double room with a bay window, two easy chairs, writing table and

to that in rooms 1 & 2 but very slightly larger.
Together with room 5 this is one of our two most popular rooms.

A light and airy double room with two windows, a wash basin, two easy chairs, small chest of
drawers, coffee table.
Although the double bed is against the wall, hanging space is limited and access is up a couple of steps, this
is probably our most popular room.

Our residents' lounge and dining room are two rooms joined by an arch.
They are are for the exclusive use of our guests and are always available
(except very rarely for some functions).
The lounge has comfy seating, a cd player/radio system and the inevitable magazines.
The dining room is the ideal place to eat your take-away, crockery and glasses are provided.

Our main bath and loo are both original Victorian items dating from the
1890's. The WC has blue patterning inside with a high level wooden cistern. The bath is cast
iron without the usual roll top edge, instead it sits under a large wooden top with a big hole
in it somewhat reminiscent of a loo seat. The bath is luxuriously large and the wooden top is
ideal for sitting candles on, so why not try a candle-lit bath? (We provide the candles and the
bath is big enough for two!)

All the rooms have some view of the hills and there is a patio/terrace on
the first floor that also offers a view of the hills and place to sit out
in fine weather. This is also available to smokers.
